Join us for our 2-hour HeritageQuest Online (HQO) workshop webinar! Combining digital, searchable images of U.S. federal census records with the digitized version of the popular UMI Genealogy & Local History collection and other valuable content, HeritageQuest Online (HQO) is an essential collection of unique material for both genealogical and historical researchers. With coverage dating back to the late 1700s, researchers can find their ancestors, trace their paths across America, and learn what life was like in the areas where they settled. Join this online workshop with one of our trainers to learn about all six collections, the search options for each and research tools. This course covers content, functions, and features of all six collections, as well as tips for using HeritageQuest Online (HQO). The workshop has been changed to encourage more interactivity and as always we will answer any questions and show you how to access support, including tutorials, help pages, and documentation. Registration is limited — so register early! The workshop is scheduled for 2 hours to cover:
- Content review of the Census, Books, PERSI, Freedman's Bank, Revolutionary War records, and U.S. Serial Set collections
- Browse and search functions of each collection
- Viewing, printing, and saving
- Notebook tool
