Events so well-known or storied as the Kentucky Derby, celebrating 139th year in 2013, are not common-place. While not every community can boast or host the Kentucky Derby, every community has notable historical events that can be used to learn about the community and the people in it. This 45-minute session will use the Kentucky Derby to highlight collections of data found in Ancestry Library Edition that allow you to build context around the lives of ancestors you are locating in your genealogical research and explore additional facts and figures found along the way. During the session we will locate information by browsing and searching the content collections, and we might even locate some historical photos of the Derby grounds! So register early seats are limited!
