Common Core Literacy and the School Library

Looking for new ways to reach your students as readers of text in all formats? Join your school library colleagues to collaborate and share ideas as you explore multiple literacy strategies using the Common Core State Standards.

Hosted by the South Dakota State Library Development Services, this event is in conjunction with the South Dakota Indian Education Summit Link to DOE's Indian Education Summit. Located at Cedar Shores Resort Link to Cedar Shore Resort in Chamberlain, this pre-conference event takes place on Sunday, September 29, 2013, from 1:00-4:00 pm.

This no cost pre-conference is for librarians, library aides and administrators. It is a great time to ask questions and get information about school libraries and their role in South Dakota. Plan to attend this unique training opportunity and then stay for the rest of the conference!

Completing the form below only registers you for the free pre-conference held on Sunday, September 29 from 1:00-4:00 pm. To attend the full conference September 29 - October 1 you will also have to register at IES summit Link to DOE's Indian Education Summit.
