This class is provided by Ebsco. This class will be offered again if the time is not convenient. CEU’s are not available for this training. eBooks and Audiobooks Update
30 minute session reviewing the latest enhancements and changes to EBSCO eBooks and Audiobooks, EBSCOhost Collection Manager (ECM), and changes to EBSCO Admin that impact eBooks and Audiobooks.

30 minute session reviewing the latest enhancements and changes to EBSCO eBooks and Audiobooks, EBSCOhost Collection Manager (ECM), and changes to EBSCO Admin that impact eBooks and Audiobooks.

eBooks: Checking out and downloading for off-line use
In this 30 minute session, we will review the various options for checking out and down loading EBSCO eBooks for off-line reading. Topics include authentication, downloading to a computer via Adobe Digital Editions, transferring eBooks to an eBook reader, and downloading eBooks to a mobile device via the eBooks Mobile app and via browser and third-party eBooks reader app.

eBooks: Managing Turnaways
What happens when a patron tries to access an eBook that has already been checked out? Do they simply walk away empty-handed, or are there other options for connecting them with the book that they are looking for? In this 20-minute session we will examine various strategies and workflows that you can implement to ensure that your patrons are getting to the information that they need.
