2013 Public Library Survey Information

The 2013 Public Library Survey will launch February 3rd. Beginning this year the survey will be hosted by a different vendor. The link to the survey is

Usernames and passwords have been changed. In order to get your login information you will be required to attend one of the five scheduled webinars where we will review some of the changes to the survey interface. Don't worry, the survey is basically the same, only the "skin" is different and we think you'll find that navigating the survey will be easier. Join Shawn Behrends, Jasmine Rockwell and Kathleen Slocum as they talk about these important issues.

So you've finally done it. Your library is now on Facebook! (Or Twitter, or Pinterest, or whatever else has come up in the last five minutes.) Congratulations, you have officially entered the fray! And it is a fray. Have you seen some of the trolls out there?

In our 3rd installment, we are going to focus on how social media is being used. Focus is going to be on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest — but other platforms will come up!

In addition to talking about social media use, we'll review top platforms, learn how to manage the trolls, and talk about what goes in to being a digital citizen.
