The sixth annual School Library Boot Camp 2017 was held July 17-20, 2017 at the South Dakota State Library in Pierre. This year's theme is School Library Services for a Multicultural Student Body

2017 boot camp class

Boot Camp is a two credit Black Hills State University course and may be taken at either the undergraduate or graduate level. All educators are welcome - librarians, classroom teachers, technology integrationists, paraprofessionals, administrators, etc.

All hotel reservations and costs, as well as meals and transportation costs are the responsibility of the individual student. A group rate has been arranged at the Ramkota Hotel (605/224-6877) for $70 single per night or $89.99 double plus tax. (Code: SD State Library Boot Camp) However, students may make any other lodging arrangements of their choice. Scholarships are available for tuition costs.

Special Notes Some evening hours are required. Students will need to bring a tablet or laptop and Wi-Fi will be provided.
