Approval of Agenda
A MOTION WAS MADE by Judy Trzynka and seconded by Linda Whitney to approve the agenda with additions. MOTION CARRIED
Approval of Minutes
Approval of December minutes deferred to April meeting.
A MOTION WAS MADE by Linda Whitney and seconded by Joan Upell to approve the October 17, 2007 minutes with corrections. MOTION CARRIED.

Abrahamson commented on his visits to libraries around the state.

SDLN Update –- Warren Wilson
Nina Mentzel (former Ellsworth AFB Librarian) has been hired as the Instructional Librarian/Assistant Director. Programmer Analyst position is currently being advertised.
Discussion on Aleph v18 issues, MetaLib, training in the Hills area, transition to a new system, electronic resources and Z39.50 compatibility.
Unfinished Business
LSTA Rules changes -– Dorothy Liegl
- All projects have to focus on the six priorities, focusing on the delivery of services to the patron.
- Still covers SAIL (Solo Artist in Libraries) project
- All Braille and Talking Book services are covered
- Courier Services
- Training Trustee’s or re-writing the Trustee Handbook
- Supplies and equipment
- Space (building)
- Publicity and Public Relations
SDNA Update
Database continues to be available and the number of user restrictions has been removed.
Courier Costs/ILL
Discussion of issues, mainly postage cost concerns.
Gates Grants
A MOTION WAS MADE by Tad Perry and seconded by Linda Whitney for approve all grant requests. MOTION CARRIED.
