Book Summary: Jeremy Jacob joins Braid Beard and his pirate crew and finds out about pirate life. Jeremy learns about pirate treasure, about singing sea chanteys, about pirate slang and pirate manners (there don't have any). But when he finds that no one will tuck him in at bedtime (No Tucking!), or read him a story (pirates only read maps), or give him a goodnight kiss, Jeremy decides he'd rather not be a pirate, after all. But how can he get them to take him home?
