 South Dakota Children's Book AwardsVoting Instructions & On-line BallotIn order to be eligible to vote, all participating students must read or have read to them at least five titles from the nominee list. A student may only vote for a book that he/she has read or heard read. The Prairie Bud & Pasque nominee lists are available here, The reading contest officially begins after the SDLA Annual Conference. Online voting will begin January 1, 2009. Deadline for voting will be March 15. The coordinating teacher or librarian may use nominee list to record vote tallies received for each title. Each coordinating teacher or librarian will only be allowed to vote once. The Book award committee will compile the vote tallies from all participating schools and the winners will be announced during National Library Week, April 2009.
