Add Blank ILL Forms to Webpages

The following is the link to the logon screen for "My Library Card" in the OPAC. Once logged on patrons can use the 'InterLibrary Loan Request' link to submit requests on blank forms.
The link syntax is: http://apollo.sdln.net/F?func=bor-login&file_name=login-session&login_source=login-bor
The following will take you to our ILL page the is linked to our library home page. At this point we are unable to link directly to the blank forms because the patron has to be logged on in order to place an ILL request.

When patrons place ILL requests using the blank form, these requests will be in the borrowing 'new - staff review' category (I think) or in the locate failed. These requests usually fail because the patrons do not put enough information in the request for the system to locate them automatically. After searching the system, you can add the ISSN/ISBN and/or the OCLC number to the requests and then the locate will perform correctly. It is also beneficial to the lending library if this information is added to the request details because then the locate will also work on the lending side.

We have asked that the add line for the request detail be available for all the categories. At this time it isn't. If the add line does not appear you can manually change the status to 'new' and then the add line will appear and you will be able to add the information you need. If you need to just edit the requested information, the title line should be underlined and you can just click on it and edit the information.

I hope this is beneficial. --Jackie
