Matching Books for Babies
Deadline: September 15
In partnership with Nordstrom, ALTAFF will award 20 grants for $500 each to match $1,075 raised by selected Friends of the Library groups, women’s groups, libraries, and other nonprofits. Any type of nonprofit organization with a current program or interest in starting a Books for Babies program is encouraged to apply. For more information go to www.ala.org.

RGK Foundation

The RGK Foundation is an independent foundation which awards a wide variety of grants that fulfill their mission in the following areas: Education, Community, and Medicine/Health. Grants of up to $25,000 are available to nonprofit organizations. For details go to rgkfoundation.org.
Jenny Jones Community Grant Program
Deadline: Ongoing
Talk show host and philanthropist Jenny Jones has announced that she will donate an additional $1 million to continue her Jenny's Heroes community grant program. Jenny's Heroes provides grants of up to $25,000 each to fund projects that promise long-term community benefits. Through the 50 grant recipients so far, funds have been used to provide items and services such as library books, school computers, and coats for children in domestic violence shelters. The program's focus is primarily on smaller communities where fundraising can be difficult. For more information visit jennysheroes.com.
