Mark your calendars for Indian Ed Summit Library Pre-Conference
Hosted by the State Library Development Services, this Second Annual Library Pre-Conference is in conjunction with the South Dakota Indian Education Summit. Located at Cedar Shores Resort in Chamberlain, the pre-conference event takes place on Sunday, Sept. 23, from noon to 5:30 pm.
The pre-conference is for librarians, library aides and administrators. We'll begin with lunch and continue with four hours packed with training on our free statewide databases, grants, school library standards, award-winning books, and additional State Library services. This is a great time to ask questions and get information. We encourage you to join us for the pre-conference, which is just a $10 registration fee, and opt to stay for the entire summit which runs through Sept. 25.
