Margaret Alexander Edwards Trust Grants
The Margaret Alexander Edwards Trust awards small grants for school and public libraries seeking to offer innovative programs that promote reading for pleasure for teenagers. Applications that feature new or creative programs will receive special consideration over those simply seeking funds for collection development or for a book discussion group.
Innovative Reading Grant
Deadline: February 1
This Capstone-sponsored grant of $2500 is for AASL members working with kindergarten through ninth grade in a school library. For more information follow up at www.ala.org.
This grant, sponsored by the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation, awards up to $3,000 for projects involving deep learning. Applications are due by the fifteenth of the month to be considered for that month.
