Keep Learning Express Library in your toolbox

Put Learning Express Library in your toolbox to help patrons sharpen their skills and nail that job, promotion, college acceptance or improved report card!

Learning Express Library contains over 300 practice tests, online courses and e-books on academic and job skill success. It continues to add new content and update old content to ensure up-to-date learning.

Recent additions to Learning Express include:

  • COMPASS Practice Tests for entrance into South Dakota's Technical Institutes
  • all three modules of WorkKeys® Practice Tests for National Career Readiness Certification
  • ACCUPLACER® Practice Tests, diagnostic tests to place students in appropriately leveled college courses

Learning Express now offers four different practice tests in each of the ACT content areas to give users the most practice possible. The graduate level entrance practice exams now include GRE, MCAT (medical school), LSAT (law school), GMAT (business school) and PCAT (pharmacy school), as well as MAT (Miller Analogies).

Other additions are Calculus Skills Improvement Practice, Civil Service Practice Exam, GED® Test Skill Builders, Police Officer Practice Exams, Praxis® I & II Practice Tests and others, plus new e-books in a variety of content areas.

Well-received online courses include résumé and cover letter writing courses.

Need to improve skills to move up the ladder? Drill into the items under the "Skill Building for Adults" tab.

Learning Express also contains practice ASVAB (military), GED (high school completion) and US Citizenship exams to hammer home success.

To use Learning Express Library, each user must create an account, including an email address. Then users select the test or course they want and begin. Results are immediate and confidential.

Free, direct access is available from the State Library website within libraries and schools in South Dakota, and 24/7 access is available to citizens from home with a library barcode and password.
