This hands-on session will be offered in two locations. It offers time for you to explore the databases your patrons would most likely use, learn what's new, and consider databases you haven't tried. Learn and earn 3 continuing education contact hours. Sign up today, as seating is limited: library.sd.gov.

2013 Public Library Survey Information February 5th (2:00 - 3:00 p.m. CT) and February 11th (3:00 - 4:00 p.m. CT)

The 2013 Public Library Survey will launch February 3rd. Beginning this year, the survey will be hosted by a different vendor. The link to the survey is sd.countingopinions.com.

Usernames and passwords have been changed. In order to get your login information you will be required to attend one of the five scheduled webinars where we will review some of the changes to the survey interface. Don't worry, the survey is basically the same, only the "skin" is different and we think you'll find that navigating the survey will be easier. Join Shawn Behrends, Jasmine Rockwell and Kathleen Slocum as they talk about these important issues.

To register for a webinar go to library.sd.gov.
