electronic resource of the month

ACT practice, resume and interviewing courses and practice tests for career licensure ensure Learning Express Library's popularity. Now your patrons can enjoy this favorite with a new platform and improved functionality.

Learning Express Library 3.0, the practice exam and academic and career success subscription e-resource provided free by the SD State Library still contains the same rich, deep content you are used to. However, accounts and tests taken will not transfer from the old platform. To use Learning Express 3.0, your patrons must create new accounts.

What's new?

  • Browse the site without logging into an individual account
  • Arranged by centers; each center has its own homepage
  • Three test mode options
  • "My Center" is a secure personal space containing the user's profile and portfolio (work the user has saved)

Through June 2014, your patrons can choose Learning Express 2.0 (the old version) or Learning Express 3.0. Get your patrons ready to use Learning Express 3.0 today and increase their success in school and career!

Learning Express 3.0 is the only version to offer GED practice testing covering the new official GED test, beginning in January 2014. Learning Express 3.0 will also phase in other High School Equivalency practice tests in 2014, including the GED practice test in Spanish.

Learning Express Library is available from the Online Resources on the State Library website . It is directly available within the library and on school and academic campuses and available from home with barcode and password. Contact Julie Erickson, [email] or Jane Healy, [email], State Library Electronic Services Coordinators, for more information.
