Featured E-Resource of the Month

New feature lets you take AncestryLibrary research home

Ancestry LibraryAncestryLibrary, the powerful genealogy e-resource available only within a school or library, now offers a Discovery Page, which allows you to save your research for access away from the library.

To use the feature, do your research and bring up a record. Click "Send document" on the left side of the page. Enter your email address, and a link will be sent to your email account. Click the link and retrieve the record to read in or away from the library. You can save up to 300 records! Find complete details here.

Genealogists and history buffs, remember that both HeritageQuest (available in the library and at home with barcode and password) and AncestryLibrary offer Learning Centers (tab at the top of the page) with videos and information about how to conduct research. This information can help you get started and find your way past roadblocks.

These and other e-resources are available from the Online Resources on the State Library website. Contact Julie Erickson, email, or Jane Healy, email, State Library Electronic Services Coordinators, for more information.
