Snapdragon Book Foundation

Deadline: April 15, 2015

The Snapdragon Book Foundation provides funds to improve school libraries for disadvantaged children. Grants will be awarded to public, private, and experimental schools. Visit the Snapdragon Book Foundation's website for more information.


Preservation Assistance Grants for smaller institutions

Deadline: May 1, 2015

Preservation Assistance Grants up to $6000 help small and mid-sized institutions, including libraries, to preserve and care for their special humanities collections, such as books and journals, archives and manuscripts, prints and photographs, moving images, sound recordings, architectural and cartographic records, decorative and fine art objects, textiles, archaeological and ethnographic artifacts, furniture, historical objects, and digital materials. Association of American Educators Foundation Classroom Grants

Deadline: Oct. 1, 2015

Classroom grants can be used for a variety of projects and materials, including but not limited to books, software, calculators, math manipulatives, art supplies, audio-visual equipment, and lab materials. Grants are available for up to $500. Funds must be used within one year of the application deadline. Visit the Association of American Educators website for more information and to apply.
