Tumblebook Library adds tunes

Tune in to Tumblebook Library for grades K-3 to see and hear about its new category, "Tumble Tunes." Old favorites take on new life as books in song. Join in the singing of "If I Had a Hammer," "I’ve Been Workin’ on the Railroad," "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and others and watch the highlighted text provide the words.

New features keep Chilton Library in high gear

Chilton Library, the auto repair e-resource, now contains more features to help you keep your vehicle and your budget in shape. How long should a particular repair take? Look it up in the labor estimating tool. Working on auto repair certification? Try the ASE test prep quizzes to prepare. Are you an audio learner? The Repair section now offers a "listen" feature. Try it out and get your motor running.

Mango Languages improves communication with Specialty Courses

Mango Languages, the language learning program, offers 37 Specialty Courses. These focus on particular events, occupations and pastimes, including these Spanish options: Spanish for Librarians, Medical Spanish, Legal Spanish, Romance and Flamenco. Try it, and you will soon say, "Qué bueno!"

These and other e-resources are available from the Online Resources on the State Library website. They are directly available within the library and on school and academic campuses and available from home with barcode and password. Contact Jane Healy, email, State Library Digital Resources Coordinator, for more information.
