I understand that if awarded this grant, the public library will be responsible for:
  1. Providing funds for the purchase of workshop materials
  2. Reimbursing the artist for mileage to and from the site at 29 cents/mile. (Materials and mileage reimbursement usually total between $150 and $250 if the artist lives close to the residency site.)
  3. Providing housing for the artist during the residency.
  4. Publicizing the program at the local level.
  5. Providing local coordination.
  6. Being available to help the artist as needed during the workshop.
  7. Completing an evaluation of the program.
This application must be received no later than the second Friday in April.
