Get your feet wet in summer reading with this year’s Jump Start workshops! Jasmine Rockwell (SD State Library), Linda Bauman (Watertown Regional Library), Carole Stricherz (Cozard Memorial Library), and Ali Bruinsma (Brookings Public Library) will once again be traveling the state bringing you ideas to “jump start” your summer reading program! Choose from one of 5 locations.
- February 8 – Sturgis
Sturgis Public Library, 1040 2nd Street - February 9 – Onida
Sully Area Library, 500 8th Street - February 10 – Aberdeen
Alexander Mitchell Public Library, 519 S. Kline Street - February 11 – Canton
Canton Public Library, 225 N. Broadway
(limited to 30 participants due to size) - February 12 – Mitchell
Mitchell Public Library, 221 N. Duff Street
No verbal or mail-in registrations will be accepted. Registration deadline is January 29th.
All workshops are 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. local time.
Everyone should bring an example craft or activity to share with the group. You can use the manual or something you’ve done in the past at your library! Don’t have a manual? Contact Jasmine Rockwell (jasmine.rockwell@state.sd.us) for more information.
