ValueLine Research Center includes buildable HTML reports, Stock and Mutual Fund screening tools, daily Supplement updates in text and video format, weekly rank changes, and the ability to export screened data.
ValueLine Research Center provides access to these specific products:
- Investment Survey-Expanded Edition provides full page reports on 1,700+ stocks (encapsulating the company's past performance, current status, and outlook) and industry reviews. The "Summary & Index" provides a key to locating the latest quarterly and supplementary reports and cites the most recent data on each of the stocks followed. Every week, about 135 stocks in seven or eight industries are covered. Also included are full-page reports on 1800+ additional, mostly small-capitalization, stocks. Reports on these feature consensus earning estimates, a business description, including recent corporate developments, and Value Line's Performance Ranks, designed to predict relative price performance over the next six to 12 months. These Mid- & Small-Cap reports do not include analysts' commentaries.
- Mutual Fund Survey provides proprietary ranks on 7,000+ mutual funds, full reports including analyst commentaries for an additional 1,500+ leading equity funds, and profile summary reports on 10,000+ mutual funds. Includes fund screening to find funds that meet specific investment objectives.
- Daily Options Survey provides up-to-date daily analysis of the 80,000 most actively traded U.S. stock and stock index options. as well as access to ValueLine's top picks for the main option strategies. The Option Strategist offers advice about investing with options.
- Special Situations Service Analysts look for lesser-known stocks where unusual developments may pave the way for extraordinary rewards. Updated twice a month.
- Convertibles Survey provides analysis of nearly 600 convertible issues and 120 warrants. Includes buy and sell recommendations, comprehensive reports on recommended securities, as well as news on companies in the service, Part 2 (the Evaluation Section) is available in Microsoft Excel ® format. A convertible is a hybrid financial instrument that grants its holders the option of exchanging the issue for a pre-determined number of common shares at a specific price
- Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) has an ETF Expected Relative Return Rating System, which starts with the list of stocks in each ETF, the raw score forecast for each stock's expected relative performance is weighted by that stock's market capitalization and then summed to arrive at a capitalization weighted average forecast for the ETF as a whole. These forecasts are scaled to numbers ranging from a possible +50 (Highest Expected Relative Return) to -50(Lowest). A rating of 0 (zero) corresponds to an expected return comparable to the markets.
