News: State Library Announces New Databases

PIERRE, S.D. - South Dakota citizens will have access November 1, 2006 to two South Dakota newspapers, online reference books, and practice tests through three new databases provided by the South Dakota State Library for statewide access.

"These new resources are a part of the new mission of the State Library and represent an important piece of the State Library's support of library services on the local level," said Dorothy Liegl, State Librarian. The new databases are: Citizens can utilize these new online resources by going to their local library or from their home computer using a library card from a South Dakota Library Network member library.
