Voting Instructions

Big changes have come to voting for the Prairie Bud and Prairie Pasque Children's Book Awards. Students will now be able to cast their votes at home, school or the public library. Students can cast the votes themselves, or a parent, teacher or librarian can submit votes on behalf of the student or a group of students. Unlike voting in the past, they will be able to vote for any/all of the books they have read.

Online Voting is Open!

The reading contest officially begins after the SDLA Annual Conference. Voting is starting on November 1st and will conclude on March 31st. Winners will be announced in April during National Library Week. Each book award has an online voting ballot that can be used by the student, parent, teacher or either school or public librarians.

2014-15 Prairie Bud (K-2) Voting Ballot
