New SD Titles to Go for Kids helps kids find e-books and audiobooks
PIERRE, S.D. — The South Dakota Titles To Go collaborative for public libraries has expanded its services with a new kids' website . This separate site provides safe, easy browsing of children's e-books and audiobooks.
Kids can browse a wide variety of subjects. The site also allows them to match their reading level and interests with available books.
This new service, powered by OverDrive and facilitated by the South Dakota State Library, is free for users with a library card at a participating public library. Library patrons in 71 South Dakota communities have access to South Dakota Titles to Go, a collection of more than 10,000 digital titles for children and adults. Rapid City and Siouxland Public Libraries manage their own downloadable audiobook and e-book collections for patrons.
Click here for a complete list of participating public libraries and information about joining the collaborative. Digital titles can be accessed anytime, anywhere there is Internet access. E-book and audiobook loans expire automatically, with no late fees.
