The South Dakota State Library is offering an "Entrepreneurship in Libraries: Strategies and Resources for Librarians" course, a 2-week online class about how libraries can support entrepreneurs and small business owners in their communities. This course has specific resources and information for school, public, and academic libraries.

The Department of Education, of which the SD State Library is a division, is excited to present a new professional learning platform. Instructure Canvas will allow users to register for offerings, participate in learning experiences, and access records of training completed through this system. All items are considered "courses" within the platform even if they are webinars, workshops, conferences, or in-person events.
