The State Library is excited to offer access to Reader Zone as the new software that allows South Dakota's public libraries to manage their reading programs online. Reader Zone allows you to easily create reading programs with any set of parameters. Your patrons can log reading entries for your programs using the Reader Zone mobile app or website.

Your library can host your summer reading through Reader Zone at no cost to you. The SD State Library has purchased a group plan for all SD public libraries. To sign up to use Reader Zone at your library, contact the State Library. Only one person from each library, please! State Library staff will create your account and send further instructions.

Questions? Contact Reader Zone at 208-888-5160 or help@readerzone.com.

Funding for this program is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) as administered by the South Dakota State Library.
