Library Institute is an annual professional development training for librarians and library staff in South Dakota. Attendees spend a week on a university campus in the dorms.

Institute is a four-year commitment, cumulating to a graduation ceremony. Each year is a different track, rotating from:

  • Library Administration
  • Library Development
  • Childrens Services
  • Teen Services
