Library Institute is an annual professional development training for librarians and library staff in South Dakota. Attendees spend a week on a university campus in the dorms.
Institute is a four-year commitment, cumulating to a graduation ceremony. Each year is a different track, rotating from:
- Library Administration
- Library Development
- Childrens Services
- Teen Services
June 6-11 @ NSU
Open Data resources, Fake News, Google Scholar, marketing, media and many available resources and programs from the SDSL. 2020's Institute was postponed to 2021.
