ExCITE! Reboot Information Literacy Course
Registration is open for February's ExCITE! Reboot course on Information Literacy. This is an online course focusing on the second strand of the SD School Library Standards in which we'll learn about the research process from start to finish. This is a professional development opportunity for school librarians and all other school professionals.

Library Directors/Staff Voluntary Certification
Through certification, the State Library recognizes public library directors and staff who update knowledge and skills on a continuing basis. Certification is valid for three years. To renew at the same level will require 30 contact hours of continuing education. Application deadline is Sept. 2.
